  • Spend time with our resident rabbits

All interaction is supervised and guided.

What makes Mudbar Farm sustainable?

Our farming system works in a continuous cycle:

  • Healthy soil grows nutrient-rich pasture
  • Pasture feeds livestock
  • Livestock return nutrients back to the soil

We rotate crops such as lucerne, chicory, rye grass, clover and sorghum to maintain soil balance. Irrigation and water management also play a key role in supporting consistent pasture growth.

Is this a working farm?

Yes. Mudbar Farm is an active Tasmanian farm. You will see real farming operations, livestock management, pasture systems and seasonal production.
