During this one-hour experience, your guide will introduce the farming practices, seasonal rhythms and decisions that influence how we grow and cook food across our three restaurants. You’ll walk through the paddocks, learn how soil health and seasonality shape flavour, and gain a sense of how the farm supports everything that reaches our kitchens. Along the way, guests can forage from the garden and spend time with our resident rabbits, offering a hands-on connection to the land.
This tour is designed as a relaxed and welcoming introduction, ideal for visitors wanting connection, context and a sense of place without a long-time commitment.

A 2 hour guided walk through the farm, with curated tastings at each paddock. Exploring how soil, crops and animals shape flavour across our farm and three restaurants, finished with freshly brewed coffee or a glass of wine.
This guided tour offers a deeper look into the farm systems that support our food philosophy. Over 2 hours, you’ll walk through different paddocks, stopping to taste small, seasonal bites inspired by what is grown, grazed, and nurtured in each area.
Along the way, your guide will explain how soil health, crop rotation and animal care influence flavour and balance on the plate, and how these choices inform the menus across our three restaurants. Guests will have the opportunity to forage in the garden and interact with our resident rabbits, creating a hands-on connection to the land.
The tour concludes at the Shearing Shed, where guests can enjoy a relaxed coffee or choose to purchase a glass of wine, allowing time to reflect on the journey from paddock to plate. This experience is ideal for curious food lovers seeking a richer understanding of the farm and how it shapes the food we serve.

An immersive 2-hour farm experience, including guided paddock tour followed by Mudbar Restaurant degustation, with the option to pair courses with exceptional Tasmanian wines.
This is the complete paddock-to-plate journey, designed for those who want to experience how the farm directly informs every dish.
Begin with a two-hour guided walk through the farm and learn how soil health, seasonal crops, and animal care shape the flavour of the food served across our three restaurants. Your guide will highlight the decisions and values that underpin our approach to farming and cooking.
The farm walk is followed by a full Mudbar degustation, where each course reflects the land you’ve explored and is elevated through technique, seasonality and thoughtful presentation.
